Tennis considers changes for Rio 2016

          Tennis leaders contemplating implementing in the third set tiebreak in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, after marathon matches this year in London.

         In addition, the parties could be eliminated by the bronze medals, to lighten the load of players competing in various events.
         The president of the International Tennis Federation, Francesco Ricci Bitti, told the AP that the parties of the Olympics this year were "very balanced and very long, and that affects the schedule a bit."

         Roger Federer won 3-6, 7-6 (5), 19-17 Argentine Juan Martin del Potro in the semifinals in London, and then fell without offering much resistance against Andy Murray in the match medal gold.

           Take away matches for bronze, the losers of the semifinals will automatically receive the metal, as in the 1988 Games in Seoul.
