The controversy over a court decision was set in 2012 London Olympics on the third day of competition in women's epee test when the South Korean Shin Lam remained sitting for an hour crying after being declared loser by 6-5 in the semifinal against Germany's Britta Heidemann.

The Asian thought her battle against the defending champions had ended in a draw (5-5) gave him the victory because he had the initiative, but at the last second tapped Germany that changed everything.

Shin Lam, who claimed that the point of the Germanic had come out of time, she sat on the track in protest. He wept disconsolately with gestures of despair as their coach filed a formal protest.
